Improper motion creates pain!

A Doctor of Chiropractic Restores Proper Motion!

Any injury, old or new, (sprains and strains) creates internal scar tissues that act as glue to "lock up" joints and muscles. For best healing, proper movement must be introduced to fully restore normal joint motion. The "glues" need to be unstuck.

Lack of proper motion can create a multitude of problems, all of which can become that nagging pain that just won't go away. Let Chiropractic stop that cycle of pain.

Allow Chiropractic's holistic approach to restore the body's natural ability to heal itself get you Back in Motion!

The Initial Injury

You may suffer from a Chronic or Acute injury.
A Chronic injury occurs over the course of time (as with poor posture)
An Acute injury occurs from an event (such as an accident)

After an Injury

At this point, the tissue goes through four stages of healing, from the initial swelling to the creation of scar tissue in order to heal the damaged area. This healing process can take several weeks to several months. If proper motion is not restored to the damaged area, permanent or hindered movement may be a result.

Injury (sprain/strain) = Swelling (edema)
Swelling = Glue (internal scar tissue created by the fibrosis of repair)
Glues = Improper joint/muscle movement (altered biomechanics)
Improper movement = Poor healing and decrease range of motion (ROM)
Poor healing and decrease ROM = Hypersensitivity to pain (denervation supersensitivity)

Adjustment (from Chiropractor) = Restored biomechanics
Restored biomechanics = Restoration of function and proper ROM
Restoration of function and ROM = Health and absence of pain

To remove pain, you must remove the cause of pain!
