Healing
The underlying principal is that the body has an innate (inborn) ability to heal itself. This DNA encoded ability is communicated through the body by the central nervous system. For example, a stitch approximates the edges of a deep cut. Your body does the healing. Chiropractic and Healing Improper biomechanics (improper movement of joints) creates nerve interference (subluxation complex) and localized inflammation. The "adjustment" restores proper biomechanics (joint movement), thus arresting nervous interference and inflammation. The chiropractic adjustment restores functional movement. Your body does the healing. A Biomechanical Cause of Pain Chiropractic Treatment Seeks to Restore Function. A Chiropractor is specifically trained to detect and correct biomechanical interference, restoring the body's ability to repair and regenerate. |
